This is the 'complete catalogue' of Infinity Trax 3D printed modular magnetic marble run, which basically means it includes all the digital files you can find in every other pack, all in one listing!
So what is Infinity Trax you say? Well, it's a 3D printed modular magnetic marble run that can be built (and re-built as many times as you want) on ferrous metallic vertical surfaces such as fridges or magnetic whiteboards. It's part puzzle, part STEM toy, part artwork, and a truly unique marble run with more possible track designs than there are atoms in the universe!
Due to the free form nature of track design, it transcends from 'just another marble run' to a mesmerising super-puzzle which provides endless hours of creative problem solving, imaginative play and is the toy that will be the most played with more than any other in the house.
Because making new tracks is easy and intuitive, the limiting factor to marble run glory is imagination and creativity, making it the perfect way to engage those beautiful brain cells. Don't be fooled though, simple is not the same as easy - you'll need to manage marble speed, and plan your run carefully in order to achieve true marble run greatness!
Everything has been thoroughly tested, and waiting for you to jump in and play. Here's the pieces you'll be able to make:
Included in the download is a full 16 page set of instructions with links to build guide videos, as well as a detailed read-me section which has tips on best practices for 3D printing your track.
You'll need to buy magnets, as well as some glue and other small items to make your track. I made a shopping list which will be included with your download so you'll be able to get everything you need to make your marble run.
Expect to pay around $0.60 for the magnets for each track section from the Amazon links I provide, and around $0.25 per track section if you shop on aliexpress.
The cost for the electronics required for the LED track section is approximately $25, and the cost for the Audio track section is around $53. Links to the pieces you need to purchase are provided, along with full instruction on how to upload your Arduino sketch to your finished part.
The cost for materials for the Archimedes screw lift section is approx $29 with the Amazon links, and around $14 using the aliexpress. You will also need to use a soldering iron to be able to make the Archimedes screw lift.
In order to be able to make this, you will need a 3D printer with a minimum bed size of 20x20cm
